Was this website really built by an AI?
Yes. Every line of code, every design choice and every questionable joke came from Claude. The organisers supplied the schedule and then, wisely, stepped away from the keyboard. The facts come from them, and any mistakes are the robot’s.
Is the conference about AI?
No. It’s about the cool stuff people make, design and build on the web. The AI just made the flyer.
Will the AI be attending?

Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled, postponed, or in extreme circumstances. We can’t cover travel or accommodation costs.
I can’t make it any more. Can someone else have my ticket?
Yes — transfers are free. Email team@webdevconf.com at least 12 hours before the event. You can also donate your ticket as a diversity scholarship ticket.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch runs from 12:00 to 14:00, and there are two coffee breaks. Last year, everyone headed out to explore Bristol for lunch.
Will there be photos and video?
Yes, for marketing. If you’d rather not appear, wear the badge sticker we provide and we’ll do our best to keep you out of published material.
Is the venue accessible?
Watershed is an accessible venue. Tell us about any requirements and we’ll help. Speakers are asked to add content warnings for motion or potentially upsetting material.
What if a speaker drops out?
Speakers and schedule may change — if so we’ll replace them with someone equally awesome.
