Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed, or in extreme circumstances. We can't reimburse travel or accommodation costs, even if the event is cancelled or postponed, so you'll need to cancel those bookings yourself.

Transfers

You can transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague for free. Just emailteam@webdevconf.com at least 12 hours before the event starts. You can also donate your ticket as a diversity scholarship ticket.

Conduct

Attendees must follow the venue's rules, our code of conduct, and any reasonable safety instructions from venue or WDC staff. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaks these rules, entirely at our discretion. We're not liable for lost or stolen belongings.

Speakers & schedule

The speakers and schedule may change. If they do, we'll replace anyone with someone equally awesome.

Photography & video

We'll take photos and video for marketing. If you'd rather not appear, wear the badge sticker we provide. While it's visible, we'll try to leave you out of anything we publish.

Accessibility

Watershed is an accessible venue. Get in touch about any requirements you have, such as wheelchair access or a hearing impairment. We've asked speakers to add content warnings to their slides for motion or potentially upsetting material.

Privacy

We may collect personal data for attendance, volunteering and correspondence. Attendee details may be shared with organisers and volunteers, and volunteer details with other volunteers. Surveys are optional, and we'll never share responses in a way that identifies you. We don't sell or share your data beyond this policy. If the policy changes, we'll post the update here and let you know by email.
